Ocean Condition
Ocean condition our salmon fishing area in
the Georgia Strait is relatively calm. Vancouver
Island protects this area from the Pacific
Ocean. There is also a number of small Islands
that protect us from the wind and swells.
What to bring
Be sure to dress warmly, mornings are cool
even in the summer. White -soled runnign
shoes or non-skid foorwear. Sunglass and
sun tan lotion.
Salmon Fishing method
We use four scotty downriggers to fish for salmon in Vancouver
. Especially in the summer time when we fish
for Sockeye and Pink salmon. Using 4 downriggers
and 6 fishing rods needs a lot of technique,
but the benefit of this is that you can catch
more salmon at one time. Because you have
more flashers, you will attract more salmon
and then schools of salmon will start to
follow your boat. If you have more salmon
following your boat, you will catch more
