Weather Conditions
Summer
The temperature during summer usually ranges
from about 20º (70ºF)to almost 30º(85ºF) degrees Celsius. Although it's fairly warm
in the afternoon, you should carry a jacket
since the weather can always change suddenly
when you're out on the ocean. The temperature
is cool during mornings and evenings. Although
a rare occasion, it can shower at times.
Fall
Wear warm and waterproof clothing. The temperature
is cool but fall is a wonderful time to be
out since the cool breeze feels wonderful
and refreshing. It's like outdoor air-conditioning
Winter
Temperature ranges from about 0º to
5º(around 45ºF). degrees Celsius. Wear lots of warm clothing,
waterproof jacket and bring an umbrella.
Outdoors can get extremely wet during winter
so be prepared. We do provide mustang floater
jackets for your comfort.
Spring Temperature ranges from about 13º to
25º(around 55 to 75ºF) degrees Celsius. Spring is a wonderful
time to be out since it's not too hot and
is it too cold. The fresh spring air also
feels great. You should wear some light clothing
and carry a sweater or jacket with you.

Ocean Condition
Ocean condition our fishing area in the Georgia
Strait is relatively calm. Vancouver Island
protects this area from the Pacific Ocean. There
is also a number of small Islands that protect
us from the wind and swells.
What to bring
Be sure to dress warmly, mornings are cool
even in the summer. White -soled runnign
shoes or non-skid foorwear. Sunglass and
sun tan lotion.
Fishing method
We use four scotty downriggers to fish for salmon. Especially
in the summer time when we fish for Sockeye
and Pink salmon. Using 4 downriggers and
6 rods needs a lot of technique, but the
benefit of this is that you can catch more
fish at one time. Because you have more flashers,
you will attract more fish and then schools
of fish will start to follow your boat. If
you have more fish following your boat, you
will catch more fish!
